• Getting your will written (and written properly) is something of great importance. After all, imagine passing away knowing you had not left your finances, property or cherished belongings to the right people.
A will is something which goes hand-in-hand with your finances, as it concerns all of your finances. For that reason, MAP offers a will-writing service.

Will Writing

The main purpose of a will is to give clear instructions as to what will happen to someone’s wealth, and all of their belongings, in the event of their death. If no clear instructions are lodged, a person’s estate could take a long time to wind up, with many complications potentially arising.

MAP strongly urges you to have a will written, and if you don’t have one in place at present and don’t know where to start, we can help. Bear in mind, the longer it takes to wind up an estate, the more expensive a solicitor’s bill will be. And if no will is in place, it is not impossible for every penny of an estate to go to the Government. Would anyone really want this to happen to them?

The primary focus of our advisers is to map a person’s estate out, which is what a legalised will does. MAP understands the need for wills to be planned out, written and reviewed through time, as individual’s circumstances change, which is why this service is provided.

As standard practice, our advisers always enquire as to whether or not clients have a will. If they have got one, our tax specialist (who is also a qualified accountant) would be happy to review it, just to make sure everything is in order.

If a client has not got one prepared, we would recommend they rectify this as soon as possible. Our tax specialist is happy to do this and deal with solicitors, if so asked, to ease matters somewhat. So contact us today if you need your will written or reviewed.
